LEGO City 7746 Single Drum Roller

It’s steamroller time! Get to work rolling over asphalt and building new roads with this eye-catching construction vehicle – the LEGO City Single Drum Roller (Set No. 7746), a sturdy 208-piece set that’s a real joy to behold.

The biggest and most attention-grabbing feature of the set is of course the grey front roller drum, which is a monster at 17cm long and spins for a more realistic role-playing experience. The front end is also designed to pivot and react to every curve in the road. It clips firmly to the tractor part by way of a sturdy attachment, which allows the roller to turn at different degrees.

The rest of the vehicle is in contrasting bright yellow to give the roller a classic construction vehicle look and feel. The driver’s cab has room for one minifigures, and inside you’ll see a grey seat and steering wheel. It features tinted windows, front and side lights, and can be easily opened to take the driver in and out. There’s also a little set of ladders up to the cab.

Two traditionally clothed construction workers come with the set. They’re in bright orange overalls with red hard hats and have different heads for a bit of variety. A couple of construction-themed accessories are included: two traffic cones, a shovel, a broom and a tool stand all add to the authenticity of the experience. Not forgetting the smaller dirt-packing machine, which further increases the role-playing opportunities.
