LEGO City 7744 Police Station

Become the long arm of the law with the LEGO City Police Station (Set No. 7744), a 953-piece set that’s packed with cool builds and accessories.

This incredibly detailed police headquarters is on three levels. The ground floor has space for parking vehicles with doors that slide up, and the other two are taken up with a lookout tower, two cells with trick walls that open for a devious escape mission, and interrogation rooms. Stairs and ladders are included to get the minifigures from one floor to another.

The minifigures are fully equipped for role play. There are seven in total, five of which are police officers and the remaining two are beanie-wearing robbers in prison stripes. A brown sniffer dog makes up the final member of the force. The officers have different facial expressions and are decked out in sleek black uniforms that even feature a police badge. There’s a helmet with visor for riding the motorcycle, plus a walkie talkie for communicating with HQ. They’ve thought of everything!

As always, it’s the little extras that really make the set stand out. There’s a satellite dish and spotlights for the roof, an entrance barrier that rises and falls for the cars, and even some shrubs for a finishing touch. The interior accessories are also worthy of note, and include a water cooler and computers, toilets, and beds, with keys jangling in tantalising reach just outside the cells!

There’s scope to re-enact all sorts of scenarios. Question the robbers in the interrogation room and throw them into jail, plot a daring escape mission, then go on the hunt for them with the dogs and vehicles after they break out. The role playing possibilities are endless.
