Haul them in and fix them up with the LEGO City Garage (Set No. 7642), which has everything a mechanic could possibly need to get vehicles back on the road.

There are 953 pieces in the set and three builds; an office building, a workshop, and a garage, with a radio tower at the side complete with satellite dishes. To put the size into perspective, the three builds combined measure 27.9cm x 43.2cm. You’ll find there’s much more to this set than simply moving the vehicles into position. The roller door slides, the platforms raise, and the gate opens and closes for a more authentic experience. There’s even a crane for lifting gas canisters and spare parts.

Four minifigures are included: three mechanics in blue overalls, and one driver with red cap and stubble on his face! A whole host of little extras make the garage a convincing simulation, such as spare tyres, oil cans, bins, a drinks machine, and a computer for the office.

The vehicles include a small blue pickup with brake lights and rear bumpers, and a red tractor cab which features a couple of clips for a fire extinguisher and a screwdriver, along with a kingpin which can be used to attach your own trailer. The real star of the set is the monster of a tow truck. It measures an impressive 35.6cm and has a raising boom, winch and rope mechanism, towing bracket, and blue lights above the cab.
