LEGO City 7641 City Corner

A realistic representation of a buzzing street corner, this 483-piece set features impressive attention to detail and can be built and rearranged at will, thanks to its free-standing components.

LEGO City Corner (Set No. 7641) features four builds: a pizzeria (12.7cm x 17.8cm), a bike and skate shop (12.7cm x 7.6cm), a bus stop (12.7cm x 6.4cm) and a bus (17.8cm x 7.6cm). The doors and windows are all fully functional. The bus is exceptional as it’s the first ever vehicle of its type released by LEGO. It has seats for five passengers and varied advertisements along the interior, including one for the pizzeria. The bus stop is also impressively equipped with a shelter, sign, fire hydrant, street light, and even some flowers.

The two-storey pizzeria has an attic for storage, tables and chairs for patrons, an opening oven with pizzas with two flippers, plus a till. Inside the cool bike and skate shop there’s space for the skateboard display, plus two boards. The front of the store features an eye-catching yellow sign with red trim and is overlooked by CCTV cameras. A bike and some tools are also included for re-enacting repair scenarios.

Five different minifigures bring the set to life and all feature convincing costumes. The pizza girl has a traditional chef’s white tunic and light grey trousers. The smart bus driver has a black suit, hat, and tie. A businessman is also included, complete with briefcase. The bike and skate shop has its own mechanic in green overalls, and there’s a skater boy with baseball cap and board. Position him looking longingly at the shop display, or pop him in the pizzeria with the chef. Make sure the businessman gets to work on time on the bus, or have the mechanic do some bike repairs. The role-playing possibilities are endless.
