LEGO City 7636 Combine Harvester

Bring in a bumper crop courtesy of the LEGO City Combine Harvester (Set No. 7636), a 360-piece set that can handle all the threshing and baling duties a busy farmer needs to perform during harvest time.

An impressive 27cm long when fully constructed, the hefty harvester is designed as an accessible build, with different sections to work on. It consists of a huge 25cm wide rotating threshing drum at the front, with four hexagonal wheels and blades in black. The body of the vehicle is in green and has a removable grey roof for dropping in the yellow hay bale bricks. You’ll also find a long, black grain hopper attachment for the roof. There are two huge, heavy-tread tyres at the front for driving the huge harvester forward, and another smaller pair bringing up the rear. There’s also a tow bar at the back.

This set has a whole host of detailed features that make it stand out. The drivers cab at the front can be opened from three directions – above, left, and right. It’s pretty spacious with plenty of room to get one minifigure in and out with no hassle. Side lights and roof lights are attached, along with mini ladders up to the cab on both sides. There’s a steering wheel and chair inside the cab and the front windscreen is angled forwards and tinted to stop sun glare.

A farm worker minifigure is included in the set along with a big red mug accessory for tea breaks, which is a nice touch. He’s decked out in practical clothing for a hard day’s harvesting: dark blue jacket, tan trousers, light blue shirt and a red peaked cap. A good selection of stickers adds the finishing touch to this thoughtful set.
