The limousine is pretty exciting because it’s the first of its kind to date. LEGO have a history of keeping up with the latest cultural developments, and this set proves they’re still right on trend. Limos are a common sight on the roads thanks to our celebrity culture, so it’s only fitting a LEGO city should have one too. It has large tyres, tinted windows and a roof that opens so you can pop the minifigures in and out easily. As if that wasn’t enough, the interior features a TV, comfy seats, and wine glasses. The driver and passenger doors open.
Four minifigures are included in the set. First up is the limo driver in full traditional uniform, peaked cap, and silver shades. Next we have a pilot for the helicopter wearing orange sunglasses. Last but not least are the male and female VIP passengers, both in smart suits.
Fly off to all sorts of destinations in the blue helicopter, which has the look and feel of a private jet. Rotating blades add to the playability, along with the front and back wheels, and twin engine turbines on top. The cockpit snaps open to reveal space for 1 pilot and a suitcase. The roof also pops open to give easy access to the mid-section, which has 2 seats, a table, and 2 cups.
