LEGO City 3221 Truck

Load ‘em up and roll ‘em out with the LEGO City Truck. In bright yellow with the classic logo emblazoned on the side, this 278-piece set (No. 3221) is no ordinary long vehicle. It’s got a couple of little surprises stashed away inside that make it stand out from traditional trucks. These days, LEGO truckers travel in style.

Coming in at an impressive 39cm long, the LEGO City Truck certainly won’t be missed on the road. It’s styled to look sleek and modern, thanks to the elongated bonnet of the driver’s cab. It’s bigger than most, and comes with little finishing touches included front grille, LEGO badge, steps, a number plate, and headlights. But perhaps the most impressive feature is discovered when you flip open the cab’s roof to reveal a bed and large, flat screen TV-cum-computer! Forget sleeping scrunched up in the front seat. Only the best will do for LEGO truckers.

The trailer is attached to the cab by way of a coupling that swivels to represent the real thing. The trailer’s side and back doors swing open to reveal the cargo headed for the airport. This consists of 9 little boxes complete with stickers. You’ll find a hand trolley to move them around in there as well.

One driver minifigure comes with the LEGO City Truck. He’s decked out in traditional checked shirt, and jeans. There’s also a truck loader, who comes dressed in blue overalls, white shirt and red peaked cap.
