LEGO City 3181 Passenger Plane

Built with speed and style in mind, the LEGO City Passenger Plane is a 309-piece set (No. 3181) measuring over 38cm long and 7cm high. It’s a streamlined and contemporary jet that comes complete with accessories for enhanced role-playing scenarios. Jet off to far-flung destinations or make domestic flights quick and convenient.

Before take-off, get the plane ready for flight by using the service worker to carry out essential repairs and maintenance. When you’re done, pop him into the bright yellow tow truck and lead the plane to the main runway. The tow truck is a nice extra touch, with its red and orange lights, tinted windscreen and long tow bar in back. It’s a realistic replica of actual airport vehicles.

Three minifigures are included in the LEGO Passenger Plane set. There’s a pilot in shiny black double-breasted suit and peaked hat, and a passenger in dark blue jacket with matching light blue trousers and shirt. The service worker wears orange jacket with reflective safety strips, blue trousers and grey hat.

The main body of the plane is in white with a blue underbelly and tail section and stripes along the sides. The grey wings are pretty wide and the outer pieces tilt upwards to simulate the movement of the real thing. Turbines are on either side on the rear section. Other features worthy of note about the LEGO Passenger Plane include the landing gear, which is nice and stable. Inside, there’s enough space for the 3 minifigures, plus seats for another 4!

Last but not least, we have the control tower, with its red and white chequered dish on top.
