LEGO City 3180 Tank Truck

Keep people on the move with the 222-piece LEGO City Tank Truck (Set No. 3180), featuring an impressive fuel tanker truck, one driver minifigure, and a fuel pump.

The cab of the vehicle features an old-school truck design, with a fairly flat front, tinted windows, and large, adjustable rearview mirrors. It’s a faithful representation of a fuel tanker and stays strictly to the white, red, and green colour scheme of the familiar Octan brand, with the logo appearing on the top and sides of the cab, and on the trailer. Double yellow and white headlights adorn the front of the cab, with orange ones on the roof. Open the door to reveal a gear stick and coffee cup!

The trailer unit is free-standing and has 6 wheels with white trim, plus a mounting bracket for the cab to clip on to. The roof is dotted with pegs in case the driver needs to access it, which he can do with the black ladder. The rear section features most detail, with its storage space and fuel pipe. Other little extras include a rear number plate and brake lights. When fully constructed, the whole vehicle measures 27cm x 7cm.

A dual-function matching fuel pump with extendable hose, a nozzle, and display screen with pay-at-pump facility is also included and sits on its own brick bed. Attach it to the truck and fill it up, then use it to decant fuel into the tanker and keep on truckin’! Finally, we have the driver minifigure, who’s a chirpy looking chap with high-peaked cap, white trousers, and a blue jacket emblazoned with the Octan logo.
